terms of use · updated August 2026

What this site is and isn't.

Short, because a brochure site does not need a contract. The agreement for actual work is signed separately, per project.

Who runs it

Umber OÜ, an engineering company at Soo tn 7, 10414 Tallinn, Estonia. Using the site means these terms apply.

What it is

Information about what we build and who we are: trading and payment systems, crypto platforms, CRM and internal tools, and the web applications around them — mostly for clients in the United States and Asia, from a company based in Estonia.

Nothing here is an offer, a quote, or technical, legal or financial advice, and nothing on it forms a contract — work is agreed in a separate written agreement, and only that agreement binds either of us. In particular, nothing on this site is an invitation to invest, trade or deal in crypto-assets: we build systems for companies that are licensed to do that, and are not ourselves such a company.

We keep the site accurate and available, but cannot promise it is error-free or never down, and we are not liable for a decision taken on the strength of a page alone. Sites we link to are not ours and not our responsibility.

Whose the content is

The text, design, code and images are ours, or used with permission. Quote us with a link and we are glad; reproduce a page wholesale as your own and we are not. Client names and logos belong to those clients.

Sending us something

What you write in a form, and anything you attach to an application, is handled as described in our privacy notice. Please do not send confidential material through a web form — ask us for a better channel first.

Using it sensibly

Read it, quote it, apply for a job through it. Don't try to break into it, scrape it wholesale, or send anything through its forms that is unlawful or not yours to send. We may change or take down any part of the site, and these terms with it — the date below says when they last moved.

Which law

Estonian law, and the courts of Estonia for anything that cannot be settled between us. If a term here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
